The WikiLocations app allows you to read Wikipedia articles related to your car's position and destination. WikiLocations can only be used if the car is equipped with both Sensus Connect and Sensus Navigation.
With WikiLocations you have access to Wikipedia based content. This is a service that is not part of the car's navigation system. You can view articles, images and summaries relating to your car's position and destination.
The articles shown in WikiLocations have been assigned a geographical location, which is not the case for all articles. WikiLocations only shows articles which match the car's language settings, as well as articles in English.
WikiLocations is a free service and you do not need an account to use the service.
Note that a data usage cost may be incurred, depending on your subscription. Contact your Internet service provider for more information.
Use the steering wheel knob for the safest use of the app while you drive.
If you experience problems with WikiLocations, make sure you have an Internet connection and good signal strength. For information on how to set the Internet connection in your Volvo, see Connect to the Internet via a personal SIM card (Volvo On Call), Connect to the Internet via mobile phone (Bluetooth) or Connect to the Internet via mobile phone (Wi-Fi).
Available selection of apps may vary depending on the market and on whether the services are supported by Volvo's third party suppliers. One or more apps may not be available on the market in which the car is sold or used.
