About Park and Pay

Park and Pay is an app which finds vacant parking spaces for you which you can then pay for in the app. Park and Pay can only be used if the car is equipped with both Sensus Connect and Sensus Navigation.

The Park and Pay app

You can use Park and Pay to search for vacant parking spaces and pay for your parking. This service works in locations supported by Park and Pay. These locations are displayed in the app with an icon in list view, and under detailed information for each parking space. This also includes information on payment providers and parking identification.

Using Park and Pay

You do not need to create an account for the Park and Pay app. If you want to be able to pay for your parking via the app, you need to register the payment provider applicable to the selected parking space. This is done by registering on their website.

The Park and Pay app is a free service, but you will be charged by the payment provider if you use the payment function. Note that a data usage cost may be incurred, depending on your subscription. Contact your Internet service provider for more information.

Use the steering wheel knob for the safest use of the app while you drive.

Price example

A price example is shown in the detailed view for parking spaces. This price is not always the actual price, and it may vary depending on the time and date. The price stated once you have set the time for parking is the actual cost of the parking.

Completed parking

If the payment provider only supports payment for the time you park, you still have to enter an estimated time for parking. This is done so that you do not forget to complete parking. If you end the parking stay before the time is up, you will only pay for the time when you were parked.

This is only applicable to payment providers which support payment on completion of parking.

Tips for using Park and Pay

If you experience problems with Park and Pay, make sure you have an Internet connection and good signal strength. For information on how to set the Internet connection in your Volvo, see Connect to the Internet via a personal SIM card (Volvo On Call), Connect to the Internet via mobile phone (Bluetooth) or Connect to the Internet via mobile phone (Wi-Fi).

Available selection of apps may vary depending on the market and on whether the services are supported by Volvo's third party suppliers. One or more apps may not be available on the market in which the car is sold or used.
