About Stitcher

Cars equipped with Sensus Connect have access to a number of apps. You can use the Stitcher app to listen to a wide range of on-demand programmes (e.g. podcasts) in your Volvo.

The Stitcher app

Stitcher is a free on-demand service which gives you the latest news, sports, finance and entertainment programmes in your car or on your mobile phone.

The app offers a wide range of programmes (but not live broadcasts) from thousands of suppliers, including NPR, Fox and CNN, which you can listen to while you drive.

Using Stitcher

You do not need to log in with an account to use the app. If you have a Stitcher account, you can log in with it to access your personal profile (e.g. favourites or saved stations) in the car. To create an account, see www.stitcher.com.

Using bandwidth

See the table below for specifications on how much bandwidth your mobile phone uses when using Stitcher.

Tips for using Stitcher

If you experience problems with Stitcher, make sure you have an Internet connection and good signal strength. For information on how to set the Internet connection in your Volvo, see Connect to the Internet via a personal SIM card (Volvo On Call), Connect to the Internet via mobile phone (Bluetooth) or Connect to the Internet via mobile phone (Wi-Fi).

Note that it is not possible to search forward or back in your programmes in the car version of the app.

Available selection of apps may vary depending on the market and on whether the services are supported by Volvo's third party suppliers. One or more apps may not be available on the market in which the car is sold or used.
