Bluetooth® is a wireless technology which permits connection between several media devices. This article describes the functions and advantages of Bluetooth® in your Volvo.
Sensus offers Bluetooth®, which makes it possible to establish wireless connections between your Volvo and other Bluetooth® devices (e.g. mobile phones and tablets). When you are connected, you can manage phone functions, stream music and connect to the InternetApplies to Sensus Connect. via Sensus. 10 (Sensus) to 15 (Sensus Connect) Bluetooth® devices can be connected to your Volvo. Once paired, you can have two devices connected at the same time and switch between these devices. For more information, see Switch to another Bluetooth® device.
Once you connect a Bluetooth® device to your Volvo a number of different features are available:

Only certain mobile phones are fully compatible with the hands-free function. For more information on compatible mobile phones, see Phones and Bluetooth compatibility. For further assistance, contact your Volvo dealer or Volvo Cars customer service.
For calls and/or audio streaming via tethering from mobile phone to car via Bluetooth®, it is recommended not to use mobile phones that are manufactured earlier than 2008, since the audio quality may deteriorate.
