Local Search is an app which helps you to find e.g. restaurants, hotels, petrol stations and lots more by searching online from your Internet-connected Volvo (Local Search is only available for cars equipped with Sensus Connect and Sensus Navigation). This article describes how to use the Local Search service.
Local Search is a preinstalled app which you can access from your car and which is updated every time the car is started. For instructions on how to use Local Search, see the video tutorial or follow the instructions below.
On the centre console: Press the connection button twice and select Apps.
In the Sensus Connect menu: Select Local Search.
In the Sensus Connect menu: Search for the required facility (e.g. restaurant, hotel, petrol station) near to your car/town.
The search results are listed.
In the Sensus Connect menu: Select the required facility and press OK/MENU to start navigation.
