To be able to use Volvo On Call (VOC) services, you need to create a Volvo On Call PIN code. This article describes how you can do this, when you use your Volvo On Call PIN code and how to use it.
The Volvo ID password is required when you log in to the app with your Volvo ID. The Volvo On Call PIN code is the four-digit code which you receive by e-mail and/or text message. The Volvo On Call PIN code is used for a number of Volvo On Call services, see the section 'Use Volvo On Call PIN code' below. The Volvo On Call PIN code demonstrates that you are authorised to request these services.
The Volvo On Call PIN code is required for security reasons for the following services:
If you have forgotten your Volvo On Call PIN code or if you want to change your Volvo On Call PIN code for any reason (e.g. if you have bought a used car), contact your dealer or press the On Call button to receive a new PIN code by e-mail and/or text message.
You can enter the wrong Volvo On Call PIN code ten times in a row when trying to access services in the app which require Volvo On Call PIN code activation, but after that your account will be locked. To be able to use the app again, you must request a new Volvo On Call PIN code and recreate your account by following the same process as when you created your account initially, see Getting started with Volvo On Call.
