Connect the Volvo On Call app to your Volvo

To be able to use the Volvo On Call (VOC) app services, you need to link the Volvo On Call app to your car. This article describes what to do.

Instructions

Make sure your car is in an area with mobile coverage and that your mobile phone has an Internet connection.

If your car is equipped with both Sensus Connect and Volvo On Call, make sure that Car modem is not selected as the Internet source in the infotainment system. If it is selected, you will not be able to complete step 5 below and then not connect the VOC app to your car. Make sure you have your four-digit Volvo On Call PIN code (Volvo On Call PIN code), your Volvo ID (Create and register a Volvo ID ) and the car's VIN or registration number available before you start. A Volvo ID can be created when logging in with the Volvo On Call mobile app.

Sit in your car with your mobile phone and switch on the car's ignition. Do not start the car's engine.

Log in to the Volvo On Call mobile app with your Volvo ID. Follow the instructions in the app and enter the required car information and your Volvo On Call PIN code.

Confirm the link between your phone and your car by pressing the On Call button in the roof of your car.

When the message prompting you to press the On Call button in the VOC app is shown, wait approximately 10 seconds before pressing. This to ensure that the car is in verification mode.

Press 'Done' in the Volvo On Call app and enter your Volvo ID password (not your Volvo On Call PIN code).

You can now start using the Volvo On Call app services.

Problems with linking the Volvo On Call app to your Volvo

If the Volvo On Call app does not work, make sure your car is positioned outside in an open area with mobile coverage and that your mobile phone has an Internet connection. If this is not the problem, you can try to reinstall the app.
