Connect to the Internet via your car modem (P-SIM)

For cars equipped with Volvo On Call, it is possible to establish an Internet connection via a car modem (P-SIM).

When connecting using a car modem, Volvo On Call services will use this connection. To set up an Internet connection in your Volvo via car modem, see the instructions below.

Connect your car to the Internet via the car modem and a SIM card

Instructions

Place a personal SIM card in the holder.

The SIM card must be a mini-SIM model in order to fit into the car's card reader.

Press Settings in top view.

Press CommunicationCar Modem Internet.

Activate/deactivate by checking/unchecking the Car modem Internet box.

If a different connection source was used previously, confirm your change of connection.

Enter the PIN code for the SIM card.

The car connects to the network.
