If you need roadside assistance or emergency assistance services, there are different ways in which you can get this assistance. This article describes how to get in touch with a Volvo On Call service centre for appropriate assistance.
Contact a Volvo On Call service centre when you need roadside assistance, e.g. if you run out of fuel, the car battery has discharged, or if you have had a puncture or similar. A Volvo On Call service centre can be reached in one of the following ways:
This then puts you in touch with a Volvo On Call operator who uses the Volvo On Call system to access data on your car's status and position. You agree jointly on suitable assistance. For more information, see Contact the Volvo On Call service centre.
If you encounter an emergency situation, hold the SOS button depressed until you make contact with the Volvo On Call service centre. This places you in direct contact with a Volvo On Call operator who makes sure that help is sent to your location immediately - police, ambulance or other appropriate measure. The operator will remain in contact with you until help has arrived.
If an airbag has been deployed or seatbelt tensioner has been activated during a collision, an alarm is sent automatically to an operator at the Volvo On Call service centre, who will then make sure the right help is sent out to you.
