Voice commands offer convenience and help you to avoid being distracted while you drive, and instead allow you to concentrate on driving and focus your attention on the road and traffic conditions.
Voice recognition is available in the following languages: English (UK), English (US), French, French-Canadian, Italian, Japanese, Chinese (Mandarin), Russian, Spanish, Spanish (US Latin), Swedish and German.
The driver always holds overall responsibility for driving the vehicle in a safe manner and complying with all applicable rules of the road.
Before voice commands to a mobile phone can be used the mobile phone must be registered and connected via Bluetooth® handsfree. If a telephone command is given and no mobile phone is connected then the system will provide information about this. Press the voice recognition button on the steering wheel in order to activate the system and start a dialogue with voice commands. The system will then display frequently used commands in the screen in the centre console.
