Send to Car allows you to send map destinations to your Volvo from your web browser at home. In the markets where Volvo On Call is available, there is also the option to send destinations via the Volvo On Call app to your car. To use the function, your car has to be equipped with Sensus Navigation.
To send a destination to the car, follow the instructions below for your browser or the app.
In your browser: Go to www.here.com.
In your browser: Search for desired position.
Right-click on the position and then click on the address.
A side menu/information card is opened.
Click on Share in the side menu.
Click on Send to Car in the side menu.
Select car and enter the car's VIN or the e-mail address that is registered to your Volvo ID. Then click on Send.
Click on Done.
The position is sent to the car.
Only applies to Volvo On Call markets and cars equipped with Volvo On Call.
On your smartphone: Open the Volvo On Call app and log in with your Volvo ID.
On your smartphone: Open the function "Send destination".
On your smartphone: Search for a destination and select a search result.
On your smartphone: Select "Send destination to car".
The destination is sent to the navigation system in your car.
A symbol lights up in the centre display in your car to indicate that a destination/position has been sent to your car. Click on the symbol to view information and possible alternatives.
On your smartphone: Download Nokia HERE or Nokia Drive.
On your smartphone: Open maps and select the required destination.
On your smartphone: Press the destination and select Send to your Volvo.
XC90 and XC90 Twin Engine of model year 2016 onwards
S90, V90 and V90 Cross Country of model year 2017 onwards
XC60, XC60 Twin Engine, V90 Twin Engine and S90 Twin Engine of model year 2018 onwards
