Håkan Samuelsson started his professional career in 1977 at Scania, where he stayed for more than 20 years. Mr Samuelsson held leading positions within Scania’s technical division before he joined the executive board in 1996. He brought his vast truck experience from Scania to MAN in 2000, when he became head of MAN Nutzfahrzeuge, a subsidiary of MAN AG. When he became CEO of MAN in 2005, he initiated a broad restructuring of the group that resulted in an enhanced and more efficient organisation with a more focused product portfolio. Mr Samuelsson has worked in Latin America and across Europe.

Hans Oscarsson has worked at Volvo Cars since 1990 and has extensive experience as a controller and CFO. Mr Oscarsson was temporary CFO for Volvo Cars during 2010-2011 and with that fulfilled a key role during Zhejiang Geely Holding's acquisition of Volvo Cars.

Maria Hemberg began her career as associate lawyer. Ms Hemberg has practised corporate law, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), real estate, bankruptcy and labour law. At SKF AB, she focused on M&A and joint ventures, contract law and corporate governance. Ms Hemberg was a member of the Automotive Divisions management team.

Paul Welander moved to Volvo Cars in 1988, joining the Materials Laboratory. He worked there until 1994, when he became Test Manager. Mr Welander went on to become Aftermarket Manager for Volvo Cars, North America, before returning to Sweden in 2001.

Klas’ professional business career began at ABB and has included both line and management consultant positions in a global business environment. Klas has undertaken business transformation and IT improvement positions where leadership, business acumen and strategy have been key enablers for operational and strategic success. As a part of his professional engagements, Klas has lived in Taiwan, New Zealand and Norway.
Klas joined Volvo Car Group in 2010 as CIO. Since joining, Klas has led the successful IT separation from Ford Motor Company and has driven the development and implementation of a business founded and customer oriented IT strategy. This consequently led business growth in general and specifically in China with relevant IT solutions to support manufacturing, R&D and sales activities. Under Klas’s leadership, the IT strategy has proven to be an organic part of the business agenda that drives and enables innovation, as well as the development of the Service and Digital agenda at Volvo Car Group to support the ambitious growth plans.

Led by Mr Danielson, Volvo Cars Manufacturing operations went through major improvements in order to achieve higher quality and efficiency. In 2013, Mr Danielson became head of Volvo Cars' operations in China.

Mr Kerssemakers has served under Swedish, US and Chinese ownership, aligning shareholder and customer perspectives.

Anders Gustafsson’s career started at the local Volvo dealer from where he at an early stage was hand-picked by Volvo Car Sverige to be prepared for higher positions. He joined Hertz First Rent A Car at age 29 as Director for Sales & Marketing as well as Franchise Development and became the CEO for Hertz Sweden and COO for Hertz Nordic only a few years later. In 2009 he joined Volvo Cars Sweden as Deputy President and Sales Director Nordic and became President for Volvo Cars Sweden in 2011. In March 2015 Anders Gustafsson joined Volvo Car Group as Senior Vice President Europe and became a member of the Executive Management Team.
